Return & Refund Policy

At Gharana-e-Chikankari, we strive to ensure that every piece of heritage we send out meets our high standards of quality. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, please review our policy below:

1. Eligibility for Returns

Returns are applicable within 7 days of the delivery of the item. They are accepted only under the following specific conditions:

  • Sizing Issues: If the product does not fit as per the size guide provided on our website.

  • Damaged or Defective Products: If the product has a manufacturing defect or was damaged during transit.

  • Wrong Item Received: If you received an item different from what you ordered.

2. Mandatory Requirements for Returns

To ensure a smooth return process, the following conditions must be met:

  • Timeline: * For Damages/Wrong Items: Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

    • For Sizing Issues: The return request must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.

  • Unboxing Video (Mandatory): To claim any damage or missing items, a clear, unedited video of the unboxing process is required. The video must show the package being opened for the first time.

  • Product Tags: All original tags must be intact and attached to the garment.

  • Original Condition: The product must be unwashed, unworn, and in its original packaging.

3. Refund Process (Store Credit)

We follow a Store Credit Only refund policy:

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be issued in the form of a Gharana-e-Chikankari Gift Card/Store Credit.

  • This credit will be sent to your registered email and can be used for any future purchase on our online store.

  • Note: Store credit is typically valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

4. Bank Account Refunds

  • Refunds directly to bank accounts or original payment methods are not processed.

  • Direct refunds are only considered in extraordinary cases (e.g., the product is out of stock and cannot be replaced), at the sole discretion of our management team.

5. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to support@gharanaechikankari.com.

  2. Include your Order ID in the subject line.

  3. Attach the Unboxing Video and clear photos of the issue (sizing tag or damage).

  4. Our team will review your request and get back to you within 2–3 business days with the next steps.

6. Non-Returnable Items

  • Items purchased during a "Clearance" or "Flash Sale."

  • Custom-stitched or personalized garments.

  • Products returned without an unboxing video or with missing tags.
